Keely Shawl Knitting Project - Session 2
Join knitting instructor Tammy Brackbill as she teaches this intermediate shawl knitting class. The Keely Shawl is a lovely shawl with a vintage lace edging. Learn about the construction of shawls, yarn overs, knit two togethers, pattern reading, and more!
This is a two part class with Part Two being held on February 15th from 6:30 to 8:30.
Class limit of 6
Cost of class is $60. This covers both class dates. (materials not included)
Materials are separate from the cost of the class. We kindly ask that if you need to purchase class materials that you do so from Humble Stitch prior to class. It is our experience that people learn faster and have a more enjoyable time when they use quality tools and materials. However, this is not required.
You are welcome to bring needles and notions from home if you already have them.
Note: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class if you will need to purchase supplies that evening or have yarn wound.
Note: Yarn should be wound and ready for use by the time class begins.
Required materials (Approximate costs listed for those who do not already have these items at home.)
Needles: Size 8 32" circular needles ($9.99)
Yarn: 650 yards of worsted weight yarn ($31.98 to $61 based on type of yarn you choose)
Notions: Stitch markers ($4.75) and Darning needles ($5.99) Row counter ($5.70)
Scissors (Small Snips)
