Beginner Rug Hooking with Kim Graybill of Addie's Attic Designs

In this beginner rug hooking class we will be hooking up this "Pretty Bird" design created by Kim Graybill of Addie's Attic Designs. This rug is approximately 13x14 and features a pretty "red bird" perched on a flower stem. Perfect for spring!
Note: Bird and flower colors are interchangeable (Red or blue). Once you register we will reach out to you to confirm which colorcombo you prefer.
This is a 2 part class. Part 2 will be held on March 16th from 9-noon.

Learn traditional rug hooking using wool strips on a linen backing. Kim Graybill will share some history of this American craft, explain the tools and materials needed, and familiarize you with the steps necessary to continue hooking beyond this class.

Please bring a small pair of sharp scissors to cut off the snippets of wool as you go along. In addition, if you already have a frame or a hook, you may bring it with you to use if you would likes. A regular embroidery hoop will not work.
