Beginner Rug Hooking with Kim Graybill of Addie's Attic Designs - SOLD OUT - "Bun on the Run"



In this beginner rug hooking class we will be hooking up this "Bun on the Run" design created by Kim Graybill of Addie's Attic Designs. This rug is approximately 13x19 and features an adorable bunny. Perfect for spring and Summer! 

Note: Hooks and frames will be provided for use during class. 
Part 2 will be held on June 1st from 9-noon. 

Learn traditional rug hooking using wool strips on a linen backing. Kim Graybill will share some history of this American craft, explain the tools and materials needed, and familiarize you with the steps necessary to continue hooking beyond this class. 

Please bring a small pair of sharp scissors to cut off the snippets of wool as you go along. In addition, if you already have a frame or a hook, you may bring it with you to use if you would likes. A regular embroidery hoop will not work.

Skill Details: Must be able to make small repetitive motions with hands and wrists.

Instructor Bio: Kim Graybill is a retired Family & Consumer Science teacher who resides in McCalisterville. She has been rug hooking for over 26 years and is very excited to teach and share her beloved hobby with others.
