Grain Shawl w/ Tammy - By Tin Can Knits

Join knitting instructor Tammy Brackbill and learn to knit this intermediate level shawl. The Grain Shawl is a lovely shawl for advanced beginners looking to challenge themselves. Learn about the construction of shawls, increasing, knit two togethers, pattern reading, and more! 
This is a 3 part class. (Part 2 on Oct 24th 6:30 - 8:30)(Part 3 on Nov 7th 6:30-8:30)

Class limit of 6
Cost of class is $75. This covers both class sessions. (materials not included)

Materials are separate from the cost of the class. We kindly ask that if you need to purchase class materials that you do so from Humble Stitch prior to class. It is our experience that people learn faster and have a more enjoyable time when they use quality tools and materials. However, this is not required. You are welcome to bring needles and notions from home if you already have them. 

Required materials:
Yarn: When picking your yarn, you can choose 2-4 different color skeins to get the total yardage needed.
Worsted Weight (#4) 600 yards Needle:(US Size 9, 32 inch long circular needle)
DK Weight (#3) 700 yards Needle: (US Size 7, 32ninch long circular needle)
Fingering Weight (#1) 800 yards Needle:(US Size 4, 32 inch long circular needle)
Notions: Stitch markers, small scissors, needle point protectors, darning needle

Notes:
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class if you will need to purchase class supplies or have yarn wound.
Yarn should be wound and ready for use by the time class begins.
