Fletcher Wrap

Fletcher Wrap by September Knits. This design idea has been floating around in my head for a while and holds a sweet spot in my heart. Both my mother and grandmother knit and crochet. My grandmother taught me to know to do both. I wanted to create a design that utilized both of these needlecrafts. Creating this wrap felt like a tribute to both of them as I switch from knitting to crocheting throughout the pattern. Fletcher is my grandmothers’ maiden name and this designs namesake. Fletcher was created to accompany an outfit as we move into the warmer months. It is very soft and lightweight thanks to the light worsted spun yarn worked at a loose gauge. The open lace sections allow a warm breeze to flow in yet keep the shoulders and neck cozy.
